Subdivision Review Menu

The Water Use and Conservation Bureau of the Technical Division reviews proposals for subdivisions received from New Mexico counties to provide an opinion whether the subdivider can provide an adequate supply of water to the development. The proposal is reviewed to determine if it conforms with the county's water supply regulations and the provisions of the New Mexico Subdivision Act. Staff bases its opinion by analyzing area hydrology, geo-hydrology and water rights information and concludes whether long-term water availability requirements can be met.
